Crown Law plays a critical role in the Government Legal Network (GLN), which the Solicitor-General leads as head of profession. The GLN is a collaboration of lawyers across the public service for the purpose of providing high quality legal advice, services and value to the Crown, enabling the Government to deliver on its priorities to benefit all New Zealanders.

The GLN team is a dedicated resource established within the Crown Law Office, responsible for leading, facilitating and co-ordinating achievement of the purpose of the GLN through a variety of initiatives, events and projects. The GLN team needs reliable, efficient and high quality executive, administrative and project support to enable it to achieve its objectives. If you:

    • are well organised and accurate;
    • have strong people skills;
    • demonstrate initiative, energy and drive; and
    • have experience in a legal / law firm / public sector environment
